F1ght Club Pro Wins Black Wrecellence Awards

2020 was a good year for DC-based wrestling promotion, F1ght Club Pro Wrestling. The company crowned its two inaugural champions and won several Black Wrecellence awards.

Righteous Reg of BlackWrecellence.com announced the 2020 BlackWrecellence.com Year End Awards on December 15. According to Righteous Reg, the year-end awards were voted by fans and wrestlers. The awards represent all wrestling scene. The year-end awards feature 10 award categories and 10 winners per category. This year’s awards featured the following categories:

  • Wrestler of the Year
  • Tag Team of the Year
  • Breakout Star of the Year
  • Best Promo of the Year
  • Next Up of the Year
  • Show of the Year
  • Moment of the Year
  • Move of the Year
  • Fed of the Year
  • Match of the Year

F1ght Club Pro Wrestling took the number one spot in two categories, Fed of the Year and Moment of the Year. The Chocolate City promotion beat WWE, IMPACT Wrestling, AEW, and Ring of Honor for the #1 Fed of the Year win. Trish Adora winning the Pan Afrikan World Diaspora Wrestling Championship, at PUSH: A Champion is Crowned, also beat moments from WWE, IMPACT Wrestling, and Ring of Honor. F1ght Club Pro’s PUSH: A Champion is Crowned placed 3rd in the Show of the Year category. The promotion’s The Summer Jam Mixtape also placed 9th in the Show of the Year category as well.

PAWD Champion Trish Adora won three Black Wrecellence awards: Wrestler of the Year, Move of the Year, and Match of the Year. In the Wrestler of the Year award category, the DC native, Adora shared the #2 spot with WWE’s Sasha Banks. She grabbed the #2 spot in the Match of the Year category for her match against Mr. Grim and Darius Lockhart for the PAWD championship. Lariat Tubman, Adora’s finishing move, took the top spot in the Move of the Year category.

Adora also wasn’t the only F1ght Club Pro champion to win big. Chocolate City Champion, Billy Dixon placed #3 in the Next Up of the Year category. Dixon’s Paris is Bumping, the First-Ever Wrestling Kiki Ball, grabbed the #2 spot in the Show of the Year category.
