Favorite scene:

In this episode, there is one scene that I enjoyed. To help him prepare for the birth of his daughter, Cody constructs a Baby Task Force made up of QT Marshall, Pres10 Vance, and Ricky Starks. The Baby Task Force accomplished a lot of duties, such as assembling a scroller and baby swing. Yet the task force was no match for the dreaded baby car seat. The Baby Task Force struggled to install the car seat.

According to Cody, the car seat is the hardest thing for new dads. Is it? Cody’s delivery during this scene is gold. He turns installing a car seat into an adventure for a new father and his friends. [Car seats] broken many men. Starks delivers the best line during this scene, “I see why my mom was mad all the time”.

Side-eye moment:

I’m giving the side-eye moment to Cody for forgetting Brandi’s bed on the Nightmare Express (personal tour bus). How did Cody forget the bed? Brandi was furious.

I would recommend Rhodes to the Top, Episode 3:

I would recommend Rhodes to the Top episode 3.

The episode’s editing and pacing were much better than the editing and pacing of episodes 1 and 2. That was a nice improvement.

If you’re an AEW fan or an AEW skeptic, this is the episode for you. This episode provides a good inside look into the dreaded Cody Rhodes vs Anthony Ogogo weigh-in segment. As a fan, watching on TV, the segment seemed bad. When I first saw the segment, I questioned AEW’s decision for airing the segment because it was that bad. But now, after watching Rhodes to the Top, the segment wasn’t supposed to be bad, things just didn’t go as planned. Things go off the rails, including the scale not working and fireworks from the Jumbo Shrimp victory.

We also get a good look at Cody’s relationship with his sister Teil and with his friends’ QT, Starks, and Pres10. If you like seeing wrestlers interact with family and friends, this is a good episode for you.

I look forward to watching episode 4.
