Black Wrestlers Matter crowned its inaugural champion, The Frontman Jah-C, at Black Wrestlers Matter 2 (BWM2). Jah-C defeated The Real McCoy JDX in the main event. The historic show was held in Des Moines, Iowa on Juneteenth (June 19, 2021). Jah-C and JDX battled in a one-fall match that lasted almost 30 minutes. Jah-C scored the important win via pinfall.
A number one contender for the Black Wrestlers Matter Championship was also determined at BWM2. The four-way number one contender match featured Brooke Valentine vs Devon Monroe vs Camaro Jackson vs Mike Outlaw. Valentine picked up the victory and is now the number one contender for the Black Wrestlers Matter Championship.
Other matches on the show included Suge D vs Kenny Alfonso, Willow Nightingale vs Joseline Navarro, SK Bishop vs Tre, No Role Modelz vs Mazzerati and Estrella, and more. There was also a Black Wrestlers Matter Meet & Greet, held before the show. This is the second annual Black Wrestlers Matter show. The first show was held in August 2020.
