DDT Divas Presents The Black Wrestling Report (BWR) Spring 2025, Vol. 2 to Publish on August 25
WASHINGTON, August 21, 2025 – DDT Divas is proud to announce the release of its second volume of The Black Wrestling Report (BWR). The BWR Spring 2025, Vol. 2, will be published on Monday, August 25. This quarterly digital newsletter spotlights wrestlers of the African Diaspora and their impact across the world of professional wrestling.
Volume 2 covers April, May, and June 2025. From opening matches that set the tone for an entire card to historic main events that close out the night, The BWR captures the legacy of these performances. Readers can also expect coverage of accomplishments, unforgettable cultural moments, and historic “firsts” that continue to elevate Black representation in pro wrestling.
“Pro wrestling is athleticism, storytelling, history, and culture all rolled into one, and Black wrestlers have always been important to wrestling,” said Sade, founder of DDT Divas. “With the BWR, we’re making sure Black wrestlers’ contributions are documented, celebrated, and remembered.”
Each issue of the BWR highlights:

- Historic Accomplishments: Championships, record-setting victories, and barrier-breaking moments.
- Cool Moments: Matches, entrances, promos, and gear that bring culture into the ring.
